Returning to The Model

Hello everyone! Long time no see!

Thank you all so much for sticking with me and returning!! I have been underground for some time, trying my best to take care of myself, physically and mentally. With all the major changes and transitions that have been happening in my life over the last couple of years, along with my own battle with depression, it has been difficult for me to stay fully engaged. The last year especially has been a difficult journey that has taught me many lessons. I’ve met so many fascinating people and made some lifelong friends along the way.

My biggest news is that in February, I accepted a privately funded grant to work on further developing the model. Over the last two months, I have been working on getting my research for my dissertation submitted for peer review and hopefully published in scientific journals.

I also plan on updating and writing articles more frequently in the hopes to provide visitors with examples and better explanations of how this model can help anyone learn to navigate the difficult interpersonal dynamics that arise in all areas of our lives, including and especially with ourselves.

Beyond that, I am hopeful that I will be able to put together some interactive workshops or discussion groups to help others learn about the model as well as producing some video content. I’ve also asked a few guest writers to come along and write an article or two for this site.  My hopes is to turn this place into an engaged community around this model.

On that note, I have taken a long break from clinical work, and will continue to do so until I have been able to get this model out into the world.

It may have been a rough journey, but I feel like it has been a necessary part of the process of growing. I have a lot of exciting possibilities blossoming around this model and so look forward to seeing where it will grow next. I hope that you all will share that excitement with me.

This is only the beginning!!
